1958 October 10 Kevin Jenkins OBE was born on October 10, 1958 at Howards Road Maternity Hospital, Plaistow
1958 - 1960 Lived in Croydon Road, Plaistow with his mum, dad and nan
1960 - 1971 Moved to his first family home in Boundary Road, Plaistow
1963 Went to New city Primary School
1964 Went to his first of many West Ham matches with his dad
1969 - 1974 Passed his 11+ and started East Ham Grammar School For Boys
1971 Moved to Eustace Road, East Ham
1972 Received Chief Scouts Award
1976 Started Target with David Robinson, which would then become Community Links
1986 - 2010 Elected as Councillor in Newham representing Greatfield Ward
1991 Community Links continues to grow, moving premises many times until finding a home at 105 Barking Road
1995 June 17 Was awarded an OBE by the Queen
2008 Received a Beacon Prize Fellowship Award for Community Builder
2010 - 2014 Continued work as a Newham Councillor but under East Ham South Ward
2015 Leaves Community Links after 40 years and becomes Life President
2016 May 19 Received Freedom Of The Borough Award For Newham
2016 June Sets up new charity in Newham, Ambition Aspire Achieve
